Starting January 1, the Museum is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and galleries close at 5:00 PM on weekends.

The shop and Café Serai are open during all Museum hours and do not require an admission ticket to visit. Café Serai temporarily suspends service on Friday afternoons from 5:00–6:00 PM to prepare for the evening’s K2 Lounge.

Tips for your Visit
彩库宝典appTo help you prepare for your visit to the Rubin Museum, please review the policies and other useful information below, which will help ensure your safety, the quality of your visit, and the security of the works of art on display。
Admission stickers, provided with your ticket at the admissions desk, should be visible while you are in the galleries.
A checkroom is available to store personal items during your visit.
Suitcases, backpacks, oversized strollers, shopping or oversized bags, umbrellas, and other large items must be left at the checkroom.
彩库宝典app Small items, such as front-worn baby carriers and compact strollers, purses, briefcases, small bags, flat backpacks, and cameras, may be carried into the galleries. Some exceptions may be made at the discretion of Museum staff.
Accessibility for All Visitors
Most of the spaces and facilities at the Museum are accessible to visitors with limited mobility。
Wheelchairs are available to visitors free of charge. You can request one at the admissions desk. Both manual and electric wheelchairs are allowed throughout the building.

Restrooms and drinking fountains are located on the lower level, first, third, and fifth floors。
Guided experiences offer additional opportunities to connect with the art on view. Museum guides conduct 彩库宝典appregularly scheduled tours and are available for informal conversation about exhibitions and individual works of art.

Drawing & Writing
彩库宝典app Drawing and writing in the galleries is encouraged but limited to the use of pencils only. Pens, markers, and other wet media are not permitted.
The dramatic nature of the spiral staircase and surrounding balconies can create a hazard for unattended children. Be sure to watch them carefully.
Front-worn baby carriers and compact strollers are permitted in the galleries.
Baby changing stations are located in both unisex restrooms on the lower level.
Lost & Found
If you believe you have left something at the Museum during your visit, you can contact our Lost and Found Office at 212。620。5000 x300。
Photography and videography for personal non-commercial use are permitted in the galleries except where indicated. Flash photography and the use of a tripod are prohibited throughout the Museum. No photographs or videotapes may be reproduced, distributed, or sold without written permission from the Museum.
Mobile phone calls are allowed only in the entrance hall, Café Serai, and restrooms.
Silent use, such as text messaging, is permitted throughout the building。
Food & Drink
Food and drink purchased at Café Serai may be consumed in the immediate area and in the theater at select times. No food and drink (including water) are permitted in the galleries or shop. Outside food and drink are not permitted.
