Considering a planned gift to the Rubin? You will help ensure that future generations can enjoy inspiring art from the Himalayas and access the region’s timeless wisdom on how to navigate our lives with meaning and intention.
The simplest ways to make a gift are among the most impactful! You may:
1) Include the Rubin Museum in your will. Simply speak with your attorney about adding language such as:
I [name] of [city, state, zip code] give, devise, and bequeath the sum of $_________________ or _______________ percentage of my estate to the Rubin Museum of Art, a nonprofit institution incorporated in the State of New York with a business address of 150 West 17th Street, New York, NY 10011, and a tax identification number of 22-6799567, for its unrestricted use and purpose.
2) Name the Rubin Museum of Art in your IRA, 401(K), 403(B), or other retirement plan. You may simply designate the Rubin Museum using your plan’s beneficiary designation form. You can include the following information to ensure that your gift will reach the Museum.
Rubin Museum of Art
150 West 17th Street, New York, NY 10011
Tax identification number: 22-6799567
There are other ways to leave a legacy gift as well, including through your life insurance policy and through various kinds of trusts。
Planned gifts come with tax incentives and tax protections for your family. Family members will not have to pay taxes on most legacy gifts to the Rubin. As the law changes, we will do our best to update this site with specifics.
If you have questions or would like to discuss the options, we are here to help. Simply contact Ansley Davenport, Senior Manager, Membership and Development Operations by phone at 212-620-5000 x315 or by email at email@example.com.
